A priest was having a conversation about faith and religion with a friend who professed to be a total atheist and indifferent.

“You are a good person and a dear friend. Why don’t you also decide to become a Christian?” the priest asked.

“Because if being a Christian is what you tell me, I don’t have the strength. And if it’s what I see around, I just don’t care.”

A tourist had arrived in a town and was looking admiringly at the many churches that lined the road he was driving along in a taxi.

“The inhabitants of this town love God very much,” he told the driver.

“Whether they love God I do not know. They certainly don’t love each other!” replied the taxi driver.

“There is none so deaf as those who will not see,” said Lao Tze. People no longer use their ears to listen. They listen with their eyes. What do people see when they look at a “Christian”?
