Two lumberjacks were working in the same forest felling trees. The logs were massive, solid and tenacious. The two lumberjacks used their axes with identical skill, but with a different technique: the first one struck his tree with incredible steadiness, one blow after another, without stopping except to catch his breath a few seconds.<\/p>\n
The second logger made a discreet stop every hour he worked.<\/p>\n
By sunset, the first woodcutter was halfway up his tree. He had sweated blood and tears and would not have lasted five minutes longer.<\/p>\n
The second was incredibly at the end of his trunk. They had started together and the two trees were the same!<\/p>\n
The first logger could not believe his eyes.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don’t get it! How did you manage to go so fast if you were stopping every hour?\u201d<\/p>\n
The other smiled: \u201cYou saw that I was stopping every hour. But what you did not see is that I was taking advantage of the stop to sharpen my axe.\u201d<\/p>\n
